Donations and Sponsorships
The values of DMS include stewardship and ethical behavior. We take these values, along with accountability, compassion, customer service and excellence, very seriously as we conduct business with health care providers. For that reason, it is the policy of DMS to follow the nationally recognized standards set by the National Electronic Manufacturers Association (NEMA), which outline what is considered good practice for donations and sponsorships in relation to health care providers.
Our policy defines that we may participate in product training and education events; support third party educational conferences; and make charitable donations to foundations incorporated as a separate 501(c)(3), when appropriately budgeted. Also, we are unable to contribute or offer any products.
The difficulty remains that we serve well over 1,000 health care facilities nationwide with our goods and services; therefore, we believe the best way we can contribute fairly to these organizations is to provide the lowest total cost of ownership and operation, which means that we must operate at a highly productive level.
We truly value our customer relationships and sincerely hope our goal of ethical business practices and socially responsible industry conduct is understood in the context it is intended. We regret the difficulty this may cause to your requested efforts.
