Interim Solutions FAQ
SERVICES
What imaging modalities can be provided for temporary services?
DMS Health Technologies can provide mobile MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT and Cardiac Angiography from major manufacturers including Siemens, GE and Philips.
Does DMS own the equipment proposed?
DMS Health Technologies is the country’s largest and most experienced mobile medical imaging rental provider. We currently own and operate more than 50 mobile imaging systems dedicated to the interim rental fleet. Many of our competitors throughout the United States rely on our product availability as subleases to serve their customers. If the system provided does not meet your expectations or clinical needs, there is comfort in knowing that DMS has the backup product fleet to support our commitment to you.
Do the systems proposed meet all local, state and federal requirements?
Every system that DMS Health Technologies offers meets the highest manufacturer standards and fully complies with all state, local and federal government agency requirements. DMS uses only manufacturer certified systems to reduce product liability risks assumed by the healthcare facility.
SET-UP
What site preparation is required for a mobile system?
Site preparation includes a relatively level asphalt or concrete pad to park the mobile trailer on, an adequate power supply (480 Volt AC, 3 Phase, 125 KVA, fused at 150 Amp service), and phone and networking lines if required. Detailed Site Planning Guides for each system can be found at www.DMSHealthTechnologies.com/interim/systems.php.
How long does it take to set-up the mobile trailer?
If the site has been properly prepared and the appropriate personnel are in place, you can expect 4-6 hours for trailer set-up and system readiness (longer for cath lab set-up).
Can the imaging system be connected to our facility HIS/RIS system?
Yes, each system is fully capable of being seamlessly networked through a DICOM standard. The mobile is provided with multiple Cat 5 connection points and IP addresses are assigned once the product is delivered.
